Charlie Hamaty and his wife Teresa – owners of Charlie’s Kabob Grill on Wheels, have been in business since 2008 and have 2 restaurants in the Wake Forest area; one off of Capital Blvd and the other off of Heritage Lake Rd.
So he found an old Aramark truck and turned it into Charlie’s Kabob Grill on Wheels, which sells fresh and healthy Mediterranean Cooking.

Charlie Hamaty and his wife Teresa, the owners of Charlie’s Kabob Grill on Wheels, have been synonymous with Fresh and Healthy Mediterranean Cooking. They started with his mother’s recipes and have evolved their menu to include many of their own. The culture of his homeland of Lebanon is infused into his meals by his love of cooking and many days he can be found sitting with his customers laughing and eating together!
Charlie travels to Lebanon every year and brings back an array of fresh aromatic Mediterranean spices and new recipes from back home! Charlie’s Kabob Grill also features delicious wines hand-picked by Charlie and imported from Lebanon.
Charlie’s Kabob Grill on Wheels had their first Food Truck rodeo on November 9, 2014 in downtown Wake Forest.

George and his team did a superb job on our new food truck. We own two Mediterranean restaurants in Wake Forest and recently decided to go into the food truck business as well. He and his team were so nice and friendly & helpful, always available to take our calls ,patient enough to answer our daily questions and reassure us that our finished product would exceed our expectations. We were not disappointed! George and his team built everything from the ground up and our food truck looks incredible!! Everywhere we go we get compliments on our truck and people stop to ask us who built our truck!! It looks amazing !!! George put so many extras & had so many fantastic innovative ideas to make our food truck standout. And that it does! George really IS the jack of all trades’s!!!!
